Welcome to Wonderland Nursery, Mapplewell. The nursery has been open since January 1999 and has built up an excellent reputation for the quality of care, safety and friendliness we provide. We cater for children from 3 months to 5 years and are open from Monday to Friday, from 8.00 to 6.00 all year round. (We close bank holidays and for a week at Christmas). We include morning and afternoon snacks and lunch in with the price. We also supply all nappies and baby milks and food.

The needs of each individual are of paramount importance. We believe that good childcare should be an extension of the home and to this end we like to build up positive relationships with parents and continue routines from the home.

All our staff are qualified in childcare and are chosen for their kindness and qualities with children. They undergo regular and intensive training and it is our ethos to always put the needs of the children first.

Teachers, who advise on the curriculum, covering all early learning goals, own the nursery. We have high standards to ensure a child's transition to the reception class is as smooth as possible. Detailed plans, records and assessments are kept of the children's development, which are discussed at parents' evenings twice a year. We like to communicate wherever possible and send home a newsletter every other month.
