St Martins Day Nursery is on Pontefract Rd, Lundwood next to Priory Campus.
We offer full and part time care from 7.30am-6pm Monday-Friday.
We accept children from 3-5 years in nursery and also offer an Out of School Club with a breakfast, after school and holiday clubs, we offer a drop off and pick up service from Littleworth Infant's and Grange Gate Junior's.
All our staff are qualified and children are cared for in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, We promote a positive ethos and ensure each child receives the individual care required.
We have 3 rooms:
Our baby room staff work with the children to develop early skills such as standing, walking and senses. Children are provided with a range of activities to stimulate development.
Our toddler room builds on early experiences and encourages children to explore through activities and play, staff work with children on areas such as language and creative development and encourage them to develop individual personalities.
Our Main room is for children aged 3-5, here children progress towards the Early Learning Goals using stepping stones. Activities are planned around the six areas of learning so children can explore in a fun and exciting environment.
We access nursery education funding which enables 3 and 4 year olds to access 5 21/2 hour sessions per week free, these can be taken as stand alone sessions or as part of your full care. These sessions are the same offered by state nurseries and adhere to the guidelines set down by the LEA.
