We are a non profit making organisation which is owned and managed by Wombwell,Jump,Hemingfield and Broomhill Community Partnership.
We offer care and education for children between the ages of 2 to 5 years and are open 51 weeks a year, 8am-6pm.
As we are non-profit making we can offer a quality service at an affordable rate.
We are located on the outskirts of Barnsley and central to Wombwell, we have the benefit of off road parking and a secure outside play area.
We understand how special your child is to you and your family. We hope to create a partnership that is special to you and your child.
All our staff hold qualifications to a minimum NVQ 3 in Early Years Care and Education (or equivalent) and we also have a number of trainees working alongside core staff.
At Stepping Stones everyone works together to promote a friendly caring atmosphere and staff will encourage children to develop at his/her own pace.
We have an environment where children are encouraged to care for one another as well as learning to share and co-operate with each other.
Stepping Stones is a registered provider of Nursery Education Grant Funding for children aged three and four years of age which means your child can access 5 free sessions per week. Our sessions are considerably longer than the usual two and half hour sessions and we do not charge any "top-up" fees as we are a non profit making organization.
