Hello, my name is Sharon and have been a registered Childminder since 2002. I live in a quiet cul-de-sac in Springvale which is close to the local schools. I have a good size garden which is fully enclosed and secure and is well equipped, with a play house and various outdoor toys. I also have a large selection of educational play equipment, toys and crafts.
All children are provided with a warm caring environment, children are encouraged to be an individual with care and respect for others. All the children cared for are treated equally and fairly.
I regularly attend local play groups and have various educational visits throughout the year. As part of the quality assured network of Childminders for which I am a member, tasks include the mentoring of newly registered Childminders and sponsored network placements.
Training and attendance at relevant regional childcare seminars is regularly undertaken by me, to ensure skills are kept up to date. I will be currently completing my qualification in Childcare and Education NVQ level 3.
