My name is Sue Platts and I have been a childminder for several years. I am a member of the Barnsley Network of Childminders and also the Sponsored Network of Childminders working alongside Social Services.
I have completed several courses including:
The Certificate in Childminding Practice at Barnsley College
First Aid
Food Hygiene
Investigating Our Senses
Introducing Children to Computers
Birth to Three Matters.
I take the children to local toddler groups, the local library, as well
as local
parks and playgrounds. I have a varied range of toys and resources that
the children are encouraged to use.
I offer full and part-time places and I pick up at Park Street Primary School and Gypsy Lane Nursery.
I provide a friendly, caring, smoke-free environment where all children are treated with equal care and concern, learning to respect themselves and others.
