My name is Sharon Bray, I’m thirty-one years old. I have two boys, Josh who’s thirteen and Jordan who’s ten.
I now provide a child care service from my house which is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location in Monk Bretton. The whole of the ground floor accommodation and the garden is used for this purpose.
I am able to provide a school delivery / collection service in the Monk Bretton area.
Childcare is available from 7.30am until 6.00pm weekdays excluding public holidays.
I provide a safe, smoke-free, loving and tolerant environment for a variety of children. All of the children I care for are treated equally and fairly, regardless of their age, colour or ability. I encourage the children in my care to be confident, independent, use their imagination, ask questions and develop their self-esteem.
Activities I provide are; role play, arts and crafts, physical play, construction, puzzles and books, entertainment equipment and weekly outings to playgroups, farms and feeding ducks.
Courses completed include: ICP course, First Aid and Makaton. I also intend to complete a variety of courses which will help me develop further in my career. I am also a member of Childminders Together and am currently working towards Quality Assurance.
