I have been registered since June 07 but I have six years school/nursery experience plus 11 years of bringing up my own daughters. I am a member of the National Childminder Association and have a valid Paediatric First Aid certificate, Foundation in Food Hygiene and registration with the Environmental Board as well as NVQ 2 in Early Years Care & Education. I have completed my Home Based Introduction Course and almost completed a Level 3 Diploma in Pre School Practice course.
In my setting I can offer your child many learning/play opportunities structured to their age/stage of development.
Toys and games include: small world play equipment; jigsaws; books; arts and crafts; songs and rhymes; computer; a quiet sleeping area; and pets. We have a rabbit and a dog that children have access to. I also have a secure outdoor play area with trikes, scooters, tables, chairs, basket ball, climbing frame and swings.
Children will also attend local playgroups, parks and shops.
I can cater for full time, part time, emergency care, after or before school.
