We are a small friendly pre-school registered for 17 children per day. We cater for children from 2 years to school age providing sessional care Monday-Friday 9.15 - 11.45am.

We are ofsted registered and can offer funded places to all children from the term after their third birthday.

Daisy Chains pre-school provides a happy, caring environment for your child to develop socially and educationally. We have three permanent trained members of staff who are committed, caring and enthusiastic about the service they provide. Staff undertake regular ongoing training and are first aid qualified.

The pre-school was established over 25 years ago and has for the last four years been located in a pleasant classroom adjacent to the school hall in Thurlstone primary school. We have an excellent working relationship with Thurlstone primary school which allows us to support the transition into school life in a positive way. This support is also provided for children who will be attending other local schools. We also try to build relationships within the local community by having regular community coffee mornings.

Within the session we have access to the school hall for physical activity sessions. We also have access to a large dedicated playground and pleasant garden area for outdoor play. We have lots of good indoor toys and equipment and have just been successful in obtaining grants for new computer equipment.
