Busy Bees Penistone has been in operation for over 30 years and is run by a Voluntary Management Committee. We are located in the Chapel Schoolroom in Springvale and enjoy excellent relationships with all the local schools. We are Ofsted registered to care for 26 children each session and can offer funded places to children from the term after their 3rd birthday.
We offer sessional care for children aged between 2 years to school and our sessions are from 9.00am to 11.30am and 12.55pm to 3.25pm. There are also lunch clubs available 4 day: each week, which can extend the sessions by approximately 1.5hrs.
Busy Bees pre-school provides a warm, friendly and caring environment for your child to develop, both educationally and socially. We have 5 members of qualified staff during each session, ensuring that each child receives a great deal of support and attention.
Indoors the pre-school is well equipped with a range activities that
encourage the development of basic life skills. There is a home corner,
a computer for basic IT skills, various craft activities and resident
pets to help care for, to name a few. Outdoors we have a safe enclosed
play area with varying low level play equipment.
