At the Busy Bees Playgroup we can provide care and education for children between the ages of two and a half years up to age five. Children can access free places with us under the nursery grant scheme.

We work within the framework of the foundation stage and use it as a basis for our planning and curriculum. To follow the foundation stage we offer an immense, varied amount of equipment, learning opportunities and experiences.

Our activities are child initiated and/or adult led in a balanced mix to stimulate confidence and self esteem. We aim to expand each individual child's development at their own pace by careful monitoring and assessment.

To care for your child there is a staff ratio of one adult to eight children - the level of care and attention that every child deserves.

The playgroup has undergone an inspection by Ofsted and received a 'very good' - the highest standard that can be achieved.

Our staff are thoroughly checked by Social Services, Police and Ofsted.

All staff attend regular training courses to update and consolidate their qualifications.

The playgroup has undertaken a quality assurance scheme.

Alongside Busy Bees Playgroup we also operate a community nursery for children aged 0-5 years, 51 weeks of the year. This was Ofsted inspected in May 2003 receiving a good and very good standard.

The Out of School club is run from 3-6 pm for children between 4-12 years of age term-time and the holiday club opens from 9am - 6pm during the schools annual holidays.
